Jack Thomasson, master planner for all of HGTV’s dream homes, welcomed us into the house. I had met Jack previously at the HGTV Green home here in Atlanta’s Serenbe community almost 2 years ago, so it was nice to catch up with him again. This brand new GMC Denali Yukon is part of the prize package for this year’s HGTV Dream Home. Wouldn’t you just be over the moon to win this house and car, as well as a cash prize? I still am amazed at all the fun things I get to be a part of. I never know what email I’ll get next, inviting me to be a part of a blogger event and this one with GMC and Lake Tahoe was an absolute dream come true.

On the other side of the house is the master bedroom and this corrugated metal wall is in the hallway. This was an impressive island with the stovetop on this side. Definitely a party house for sure with this layout. I asked to get a pic taken with him and he agreed.
Episode List
I am definitely going to try to win this house, especially since I have family in Reno who could share it with us if we win. A Dec. 2 episode of “My Lottery Dream Home,” which follows lottery winners who have won bite-sized prizes from scratch tickets and big contests alike such as Mega Millions, featured a married couple from Grimes. The winner of the home will receive the brand new, fully furnished home, including all of the furnishings, an All-New 2022 Grand Wagoneer and $250,000 from Rocket Mortgage®, a prize package valued at over $2.4 Million. A $409,000 two-story build in Clementine Court featured four bedrooms, two-and-a half bathrooms and an unfinished basement.
In that regard, Jonathan and Drew’s job in helping couples get their dream homes isn’t too in-depth. The HGTV Dream Home 2014 measures approximately 3200-square-foot, and includes three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths on one-third of an acre. As part of the “New Mountain Architecture” design by Ward-Young Architecture of Truckee, Calif., the house blends traditional and contemporary forms. This impressive piece of art was above the fireplace, a rustic slice of pine tree. I’m kicking myself for not keeping a slice of the big pine tree I had cut down in my front yard. At the other end of the kitchen is this gorgeous living room area, complete with fireplace and lots more glass.

Doheny added that Bromstad appreciated the opportunity to share Iowa’s corn-growing heritage with HGTV viewers and she enjoyed the episode’s conversational themes about the crop even if they included clichés. At Aura, the pair shared their wish list for potential homes, which included a four-bedroom, three-bathroom ranch-style home with a finished basement at around 1,800 square feet. The duo’s budget ranged from $350,000 to $450,000 depending on the sale of their then-current home during filming. HGTV’s 18th annual Dream Home, a custom-built, fully furnished home set in the Schaffer’s Mill community of Truckee, Calif., will offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Carson Range that separates California and Nevada. By taking a virtual tour of this custom-built, 3200-square-foot home at HGTV.com/dreamhome, viewers can see first-hand the architecture and arrangement that blends nature with contemporary design. Love that wood kitchen backsplash and that above the fireplace wood piece, too.
Looking into the spacious open kitchen and dining area on this side of the house. Note the soaring ceilings with rustic wood beams and all the metal bolts in a pattern that is just beautiful. Linda Woodrum did an excellent job with the interior design of the house and we noted that Ethan Allen provided all the furniture. Congratulations to Maureen Rustrianof Basking Ridge, New Jersey!
'This is literally the corniest episode ever!'
He’s got such vision for these homes and does a tremendous job on all of the planning. Snow drifts and evergreen trees made for a beautiful setting. I did a little Vanna White impression, showing off the house. As I shared in the earlier post, we all piled in brand new GMC Denali vehicles and drove the 45 minutes or so to the community where the dream home was built.
She is our proud winner of the HGTV® Smart Home Giveaway 2019, a grand prize package valued at over $1.2 million. How can I avoid paying taxes on prizes?
The reactions and interactions viewers see onscreen are genuine, though producers sometimes ask people to recreate a moment for a better shot. At 2,131 square feet, the house offered two different-colored kitchen cabinets and a comfy, open-style living room. The lucky winner of the 2019 Dream Home was Beverly Fulkerson of Osgood, Indiana. HGTV drew Beverly’s name from among more than 135 million other entries.
Some fans, particularly Laurel residents, tell the HGTV stars how cool it looks to be on TV, but Ben and Erin say it’s just a normal job. “We get up, we work with our coworkers, and we go home.”Sep 28, 2021. Expert designer Brian Patrick Flynn tours the family room in the HGTV Dream Home 2014.
Like many winners, Beverly has been entering for years with no expectation of ever really being lucky enough to have her name drawn. The prize package, valued at over $1.2 million, includes the brand new, fully furnished home, a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 and $100,000 from LendingTree. Eligible entrants can enter twice per day at HGTV.com, where they can also find additional sweepstakes details and the official rules. And, once upon a time, Jonathan may have been the one to do a lot of the heavy lifting. But these days, the brothers and their production company employ local contractors to help renovate homes for the show.
How many square feet is the 2014 HGTV Dream Home?
I think everyone that has won it, was not able to keep it due to the huge tax bill that came their way. What a delight it was to experience this HGTV Dream Home in person. It’s one thing to see things online, but to be there in the flesh is a wonderful treat. I’m so grateful to GMC for this opportunity to participate in such a once in a lifetime experience.
She is the lucky winner of the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway® 2015. And, it seems the winners don’t even get to enjoy their dream digs for very long. Country Living reported that by 2018, with over 20 HGTV Dream Home winners crowned, only 28% of the winners actually lived in the home for over a year. I loved the accent of yellow that was chosen for the house.
